Wahoo KICKR Quick Release Adapter Kit

The adapters that let a KICKR hold a bike with a traditional 130 or 135mm quick release rear end. If your trainer is set up for thru axles and your bike is rim-brake or older disc, these are the parts that make it fit.

Riders with a quick release rear wheel — most rim-brake road bikes and plenty of older disc bikes — and a KICKR without the QR adapters fitted. Also anyone running two bikes on different standards who wants both sets to hand.

Who can skip it

Recent KICKR trainers include QR adapters as standard, including the KICKR MOVE, KICKR with WiFi and CORE 2 — check the box first. If your bike is 12x142 or 12x148 thru axle, you want the thru axle adapter kit instead.

Does this include a skewer?

This is the trainer-side adapter kit. You use your bike's own quick release skewer, or a trainer-specific one if your existing skewer has an unusual head shape.

130mm or 135mm?

Both are covered — 130mm is typical for road, 135mm for older disc and touring bikes.

Will it fit my KICKR?

Wahoo direct drive KICKR trainers. Fitment varies by generation, so send us your serial number if you want it confirmed.
