Wahoo TICKR / TICKR X Replacement Strap Gen 2

£16.99

The replacement strap for current-generation Wahoo TICKR and TICKR X heart rate monitors. The strap is the part that wears out — the electronics module usually outlives two or three of them — so replacing it is far cheaper than replacing the monitor.

If your TICKR has started reading erratically, dropping out, or showing implausible spikes early in a ride, a tired strap is the most likely culprit before the module itself. The conductive electrode areas degrade with sweat and washing, and once they stop making reliable contact the data goes with them.

Who this suits

TICKR and TICKR X owners whose strap has stretched, frayed or stopped reading reliably. Also worth keeping a spare if you train daily indoors, where straps get considerably more sweat exposure than outdoor use.

Check before ordering

This is the Gen 2 strap, for the newer TICKR and TICKR X. Wahoo has used more than one strap design across the range, and it does not fit the TICKR FIT armband, which uses its own straps. If you are unsure which generation you have, email us and we will identify it.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my TICKR?

It fits the newer TICKR and TICKR X. Send us your monitor details if you are not certain which generation you have.

Does it fit the TICKR FIT?

No. The FIT is an armband and uses its own replacement straps.

My readings are erratic. Will a new strap fix it?

Often, yes — worn electrodes are the most common cause. Wetting the pads before you ride is worth trying first, and costs nothing.
